About My Writing
I am in the process of writing my first novel
drawn from events that happened during the
fifteen years I lived in Northern Ireland from
1972 until 1987.
Although my characters are fictious I have
incorporated actual events into an evocative
story of two teenage boys of different religions
and the effect the 'Troubles'have on their
lives.
After several rewrites I have finished the first
book and am looking for a publisher/agent, while
I begin the sequel.

Born in Liverpool afterWW2, I left Grammar School over forty years ago and embarked on a very
varied and much travelled career that cannot be listed on this little bit of paper
During that time I married an Irishman, hence my knowledge of that country,who travelled with
me and we produced four children who have grown up and left the nest and we now have four
grandchildren as well.

their childhood friendship to the limit.
