cathdaviduk@yahoo.co.uk http://www.catherinedavid.co.uk | About My Writing I love to write; there isn't anything more rewarding! I don't know where I get the inspiration from, it's just there!
It is fiction, it is fun; it’s the penny and the bun
It’s escape, it’s just great, put pen to paper and create
Words flow from my mind through the tip of my pen
As I sit here alone in my private den
Novels, short stories and poems galore!
Words come easy, but still I crave more.
Mountains of papers strewn all over the desk
Computer complaining because it needs a rest.
I travel the streets, talk to people I meet.
Getting more input, is no easy feat.
I work so hard, and check for mistakes
But the cherry on the top is the story I make.
I write and rewrite until I'm ready to drop.
But the cream is seeing my books in the shop!
| Authors' Register: | About My Background Hello everyone! I'm Catherine, and just so you know a little about me; I am fifty four years old, have grown up sons, a cat called Gizzy Wizzy and a yorkie dog called Sammy. I am presently unemployed, due to ill health, athritis, but that gives me plenty of time to write. I have written a novel "Help Me", and a children's book "Jonny Jackdaw" which is now available. I also intend to publish "Michael's Demons" in the autumn; so watch this space! I have also written many, many poems, a gameshow and a comedy series. All I want to do now is sell the lot! I hope you will enjoy my work when you read it, as much as I did when I wrote it. You can contact me at anytime at cathdaviduk@yahoo.co.uk |
