About My Writing
Hello. My name is Aidan Lucid and I just joined
this site. I have finished my first novel and
after several rejections from agents, agents from
Total Fiction have requested to see the full
manuscript and here's hoping that they might
accept it.

| About Me
I am 26 and from Ireland. I've a rare syndrome called, Moebius Syndrome, which prohibits me
from moving my eyes and smiling as my facial muscles are paralysed. I've obtained diplomas of
distinction in Freelance Journalism and Creative Writing at Kilroy's College, Dublin, Ireland.
Since I began writing five years ago due to a religious experience I had, my work has appeared
in Irish and English magazines and some of my poetry has appeared in American poetry books.
Recent publications include articles in Writers' Forum (June 2006) and Writer Within E-zine
(August 2006). This month an article on RSI will appear in the American publication, The
Writer's Journal. I'm currently a movie reviewer for my local paper, "The Kerryman".

The Boy With the Golden Coin

My book is a fantasy adventure about a young
boy who finds a gold coin. He later learns
that the coin has some magical abilities and
it takes him to another world where he must
save mankind. Here is a prologue half of
chapter one.
